Zakharova on Anti-Russian Actions and Statements in Yerevan
The U.S. Embassy in Armenia has not understood that it is necessary to strengthen Russian-American relations rather than disrupt Russian-Armenian ones. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"We have a broad agenda with Armenia in all directions, not just for discussions but also for specific practical work. We also know that many from the minority do not like this. Therefore, we focus on a constructive, positive agenda. And that's all there is to it," she said.
During a press briefing, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry reminded that there are about 2,000 employees working at the U.S. Embassy in Armenia. It seems that some of them have not yet exhausted the funds transferred through USAID, which is why they are spending it on such projects. The diplomat labeled the anti-Russian actions and statements in Yerevan as paid initiatives.
