Iran Agrees to IAEA Inspectors Presence on Condition They Are Russian Nationals
A member of Iran's National Security Commission, Boroujerdi, has announced that Tehran has agreed to the presence of IAEA inspectors at the Bushehr nuclear power plant, provided that they are strictly Russian nationals.
"The visit will be limited only to the Bushehr nuclear power plant due to the fact that a new fuel loading must take place under the agency's supervision, and we accepted this condition insisting that the inspectors must be Russian nationals," said Boroujerdi.
It is worth noting that Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated that if the European trio imposes sanctions against Iran, then all cooperation and interaction with the International Atomic Energy Agency will be completely jeopardized and practically cease.
