Iran's Foreign Ministry on Ties with Russia and China Regarding Nuclear Program
Tehran maintains contact with Moscow and Beijing regarding issues related to Iran's nuclear program. This was announced by the official representative of the Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baghaei, as reported by TASS.
"By maintaining connections with China and Russia, which are parties to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and permanent members of the UN Security Council, we have also held and are holding negotiations with three European countries," said Esmail Baghaei.
The diplomat added that in these negotiations, Tehran's goal is to "ensure that national interests are respected."
It is noteworthy that negotiations between Iran and the "E3" (United Kingdom, Germany, and France) will take place at the deputy foreign ministers' level in Geneva, focused on the lifting of anti-Iranian sanctions and resolving existing disagreements over Iran's nuclear program.
