Bayramov on the Dissolution of the Minsk Group and Obstacles to Reaching an Agreement with Armenia
It is expected that a decision on the dissolution of the Minsk Group will be made on September 1. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
“Azerbaijan has taken serious steps to ensure long-term peace in the region. Despite some progress in the peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia during this period, the endless military assistance to Armenia has been the main obstacle to concluding the settlement process. The application concerning the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group and its related structures has been circulated among the OSCE countries, and a decision on that matter is expected to be made on September 1,” said Bayramov.
