After the Revolution, People Live 50% Better, Says Pashinyan
Since the revolution in 2018, people are living 50% better. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.
According to him, in April 2018, the average salary in Armenia was 173,996 drams, while in April 2025, it is projected to reach 304,992 drams. “The increase in the average salary has amounted to 130,000 drams, or 75%,” he noted.
Pashinyan emphasized, “This is evidence that people in Armenia live better, they are better off taking inflation into account, and they live about 50% better.” He also remarked that this does not mean that people are satisfied with their lives. “What I am saying pertains to working individuals.”
According to Pashinyan, 242,119 jobs have been created in Armenia.
