Air Quality in Yerevan: Recent Days

The Hydro-Meteorological Center has presented the air quality in Yerevan for the period of February 19-25.

The dust content has exceeded the permissible concentration limits in the Central administrative district on February 20, in Shengavit on February 19, while in Nor Nork and Arabkir it has not exceeded the limits.

It is noted that the concentrations of nitrogen and sulfur dioxide have not surpassed the permissible concentration limits. The Center also provided data on dust levels in various cities from February 15-21.

The dust concentration in the air has exceeded the permissible limits in Vanadzor city, particularly near the surrounding areas of Zaturyan Street on February 15, 19-21, near Heraci Street on February 17, and near Vardanants Street on February 16 and 21.

In Alaverdi, the surrounding area of Sayat Nova Street has not exceeded the limits, while areas near the Sanahin plateau and Gay Street have been near the limits for almost the entire week, and areas near Debed Street on February 17, 19, and 21 have also seen elevated levels.

In Gyumri, the levels were elevated on February 17-19, but in Hrazdan, the limits were not exceeded.
