Driver of Bus No. 97 Subjected to Violence
Today, an unacceptable incident occurred: following a request by the driver of Bus No. 97 for passengers to pay their fare, a dispute arose between the driver and three passengers, during which the driver was subjected to violence. Another driver from the "Yerevan Bus" LLC was also assaulted during the altercation.
The safety of public transport drivers and passengers is of paramount importance to us, and such incidents cannot be tolerated. A report has been filed with the police regarding this incident, and we expect that the offenders will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
We call on citizens to maintain public order, respect each other’s rights, and adhere to legal requirements. Payment while using public transport is mandatory, and it is everyone’s duty to comply with the established rules.
