Baku is eagerly anticipating Russian investments for the reconstruction of Nagorno-Karabakh and would be pleased to see Russian companies arrive, stated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in an interview with the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company and RIA Novosti.
“The first investment project was implemented by Tatarstan, meaning that the first foreign investment project there was also Russian. Therefore, we are expecting investments and would be happy for contractors as well,” Aliyev mentioned during his conversation with Dmitry Kiselev.
According to the Azerbaijani leader, a delegation from Tatarstan is currently in Baku, and he intends to hold a meeting with the Republic's leader, Rustam Minnikhanov.
