Syrian Cities Will Become Part of Turkey: Erdogan
Syrian cities will become part of Turkey. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
"If there were an alternative revision of borders after World War I, Aleppo, Idlib, Damascus, and Raqqa would have been Turkish cities," he said.
"It is interesting to consider what would have happened if the circumstances during the time when World War I restored borders in our region had been different. The cities we call Aleppo, Idlib, Damascus, and Raqqa would become our provinces, just like Antakya, Hatay, and Urfa," Erdogan added.
