New Charges Filed Against Robert Kocharian and Yuri Khachaturov
Former President Robert Kocharian and former Secretary General of the CSTO Yuri Khachaturov have been presented with new charges in connection with the March 1 case.
During a hearing on this case, public prosecutor Hayk Hovhannisyan revised the legal assessment of the actions attributed to them, introducing new charges under Article 309, Part 3 of the RA Criminal Code, which pertains to the abuse of official powers resulting in grave consequences. This aligns with Article 441 of the current RA Criminal Code.
