Will the Drinking Water Tariff Change in 2025?
During today's meeting, the Public Services Regulation Commission of the Republic of Armenia set the tariffs for drinking water supply and wastewater treatment services provided by Veolia Water LLC for the year 2025.
For socially vulnerable subscribers, the tariff will be 180 drams, while for all other subscribers, it will be 200.42 drams.
As a result of the monitoring conducted by the Commission, an additional volume of 438,387 cubic meters was calculated, which positively influenced the tariff, lowering it by approximately 0.4 drams per cubic meter. Additionally, the change in retail water supply volume also had a positive effect.
It is worth mentioning that in the past two years, the Armenian government has offset about 6 drams charged to consumers that exceed the approximately 200 dram payment through appropriate subsidies.
