Medvedev: ‘Sitting on Suitcases, Waiting for Complicated Developments’
The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada is ‘sitting on suitcases,’ waiting for complicated developments. This opinion was expressed by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, on his Telegram channel.
The politician recalled that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had presented the Rada with a ‘resilience plan’ consisting of ten points. ‘He needs an individual “resilience plan” made up of one point – to be closer to reality. The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada is sitting on suitcases, waiting for complicated developments,’ he wrote.
Medvedev also stated that bomb shelters will not help escape if Russia uses the medium-range hypersonic ballistic missile ‘Oreshnik’ with a nuclear component.
On November 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a special address following strikes on Russian territory using American ATACMS and British Storm Shadow missiles. The head of state announced that in response to the actions of Western countries, Russia struck the ‘Yuzhmash’ military plant in Dnipro (Ukrainian name: Dnipro) using the latest medium-range ‘Oreshnik’ missile system.
