If a state has stamps, it means they are at a certain level of sovereignty: Harutyunyan
The head of the Prime Minister's office, Arayik Harutyunyan, participated in the unveiling ceremony of a special commemorative postcard dedicated to the "Philatelic exhibition dedicated to the history of post" at the National Museum-Institute of Architecture named after Alexander Tamanyan, as reported by the Government's press service.
Before the unveiling ceremony, Arayik Harutyunyan welcomed the attendees and congratulated them on this significant occasion. He emphasized the fact that the event is becoming traditional, with participation from abroad as well.
“A stamp represents knowledge, and through such events, we need to show that we are dealing with another carrier of knowledge here. We should present this properly to our public—students, pupils—because by coming here, they become familiar with various historical instances and the history of post, learning that a stamp is one of the vital characteristics of a state. And the states that have stamps are, in fact, at a certain level of sovereignty. I believe we should develop this direction. We are trying to make this effort from our side, but I also think additional efforts should be made,” stated the head of the Prime Minister’s office.
