Aliyev on Amendments to Armenian Constitution
Ilham Aliyev exchanged views with Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo during a meeting regarding regional issues and the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Aliyev emphasized that serious progress has been made through active negotiations over the past year, including in the area of border delimitation.
He noted that the territorial claims against Azerbaijan in the Armenian constitution remain an obstacle to the signing of a peace treaty, and that they need to be amended.
