People Should Be Prepared for My Departure from the Presidency, Lukashenko Says
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has stated in an interview with Russia's television channel that people should be prepared for his departure from the presidency, as no one is eternal. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“Not everyone understands the essence of presidential work; everyone thinks like this: 30 years is too much, it's absurd. Many have become accustomed to it and say, 'he and no one else,' which is wrong. I am preparing people for this; I do not want there to be disappointment or failure,” Lukashenko said.
