Armenia's Foreign Ministry Responds to Baku's Statement on the 'Zangezur Corridor'
The spokesperson for the Armenian Foreign Ministry has addressed the statement made by Azerbaijan's special representative, Amirbekov, regarding the 'Zangezur Corridor'.
“Despite this agreement, the unblocking of communications remains a vital part of Armenia's vision for peace and economic development, as reflected in the 'Peace Crossroads' program, which is based on sovereignty, legality, reciprocity, and equality,” the Armenian Foreign Ministry stated.
It is noteworthy that Amirbekov had earlier declared, “By mutual agreement, we decided to remove this point (regarding the reopening of communications) from the peace agreement and to move the discussion to a later phase.”
