Pashinyan on the Accumulation of Police Forces
Each state body of the Republic of Armenia is obliged to perform the functions assigned to it by law. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a conversation with journalists, addressing the significant accumulation of police forces in the Baghramyan-Demirchyan area.
In response to the question of what dangers he sees in concentrating such forces near the National Assembly, he said, “The normal functioning of the National Assembly must be ensured, and the safety of citizens must also be guaranteed.”
“That is their function, which they are required to carry out, including ensuring the safety of peaceful participants in gatherings,” added Pashinyan.
