Yerevan Municipality Issues Statement
This morning, public transport in Yerevan began operating normally. This is reported by the Yerevan Municipality.
“Yesterday, it was noted that there were cases of drivers failing to fulfill their work responsibilities and unjustifiably leaving their routes. Over the past month, abuses have been uncovered. Daily revenues from passenger transport have significantly increased today, the shadow economy is being reduced, and effective measures are being taken to improve the quality of services provided to Yerevan residents. Mayor Tigran Avinyan personally visited the 'Yerevan Bus' LLC, spoke with the drivers, and presented his observations,” the Municipality reports.
