Temporary Restrictions on Cement Imports in Armenia
The government has approved a decision to implement temporary restrictions on cement imports to the Republic of Armenia, along with establishing the licensing procedure for imports and the format of the main license.
This decision comes as a response to the need to regulate cement imports from third countries and to create equal conditions for both locally produced and imported cement in the domestic market.
The aim of this decision is to foster the development of local cement production and ensure fair competition between domestic producers and importers in the internal cement market.
