We Will Destroy Hamas, Netanyahu Warns

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that there should be no place for radical elements in the "revitalized and demilitarized Gaza" in the future. He emphasized, "It is clear to me what Gaza's future should look like: At the end of this battle, Hamas will cease to exist; we will destroy Hamas not only for ourselves but also for civilization, for the Palestinians and Israelis. We want to see Gaza demilitarized, cleansed of radical elements, and rebuilt," he said in an interview with Fox News.

Netanyahu noted that Israel does not seek to occupy or govern the Gaza Strip. However, for some time, Israel will need a "reliable force that can enter Gaza if necessary and eliminate the murderers" to prevent the resurgence of Hamas.

The Prime Minister emphasized that his expectations are linked to a "newly constructed Gaza for its residents."
