No Humanitarian Ceasefires Until Our Demands Are Met, Says Israeli Defense Minister

Israel will not agree to humanitarian ceasefires in the Gaza Strip until the hostages held in the enclave are released. This statement was made by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, as reported by TASS agency.

“Recently, we have been hearing the words ‘humanitarian ceasefire’ more and more often. I want to say that for me, humanitarian ceasefire means our hostages first and foremost, our women, children, and the elderly. There will be no humanitarian ceasefire without the return of the hostages,” Gallant said at a press conference.
