Why Former Head of Yerevan Municipality's Media Department Was Detained
The National Police of Armenia have detained the former head of the Yerevan Municipality's Media Department, Hovsep Kubatyan. Kubatyan announced this on his Facebook page.
"I am being taken to the police station in Malatia for sitting in the park at Tsitsernakaberd. There is no legal demand, no basis," Kubatyan wrote.
The press service of the National Police informed Sputnik Armenia that three individuals were detained from the Tsitsernakaberd area for committing an act provided for by Article 182 of the RA Code on Administrative Offenses (failure to comply with a legal demand of a police officer).
It is worth reminding that earlier we reported that the situation on Tsitsernakaberd highway remains tense, and Hovsep Kubatyan has been detained.
