Azerbaijan Concentrating Military Equipment in Sotk Area: Armenian Ministry of Defense

The Armenian Ministry of Defense has announced that through continuous monitoring by the relevant units of the Armed Forces, measures are being recorded regarding the concentration of military equipment and additional personnel of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the Sotk area.

It is noteworthy that this morning, the Ministry of Defense reported that the enemy, by spreading false information on August 31, created an informational basis for another provocation, and from 07:50 on September 1, opened intensive fire towards the Armenian positions located in the Sotk area.

As a result of the Azerbaijani provocation, the Armenian side has recorded two fatalities and one injury. The Ministry of Defense had also stated earlier that the enemy is using mortars.

Furthermore, as of 12:25, the enemy has opened fire towards the Armenian positions located in the Norabaki area.
