Medvedev Discusses Threats to Kyiv from Abandoning Negotiations
The deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council stated that if Ukrainian authorities refuse to negotiate with Moscow, it will allow Russia to "finalize what it started during the special military operation." He wrote this on his Telegram channel.
The Security Council vice-chairman emphasized that it is beneficial for Russia if Ukrainian authorities propose a "non-viable" peace settlement and reject any other negotiation options.
He also pointed out the "usefulness" of the fact that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a "piece of paper" forbidding negotiations with Russia.
Medvedev noted that these initial conditions would allow Russia to "finalize what it began during the special military operation."
