October 8 Destruction of the Crimean Bridge is One of Our Actions: SBU Head

The head of Ukraine's Security Service, Vasyl Maliuk, stated that the employees of his agency were behind the explosion of the Crimean Bridge in the autumn of 2022, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“There are many different actions, special operations, some of which we will be able to talk about so that everyone can see after our victory, while we will not speak at all about others. My colleague wore the appropriate shirt today; this is one of the actions we carried out, specifically, the destruction of the Crimean Bridge on October 8 of last year,” said Maliuk.

On July 9, Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Maliar announced that the responsibility for the explosion of the Crimean Bridge in the autumn of 2022 lay with the Kyiv authorities.

The FSB of Russia reported that the organizer of the terrorism on the Crimean Bridge was Kyrylo Budanov, the head of Ukraine's military intelligence. Later, the country's Investigative Committee confirmed that Ukraine's special services were behind the organization of the terrorist act.
