Germany Will Not Supply Ukraine with Cluster Munitions
Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has announced that Germany will not supply cluster munitions to Ukraine, in accordance with the convention on the prohibition of the use and proliferation of cluster munitions. This information was reported by Kommersant.ru.
It is worth noting that the issue of transferring cluster bombs to the Ukrainian army had been discussed by the United States. Later, it became known that U.S. President Joe Biden approved the supply of cluster munitions to Ukraine.
"I have followed the media reports. For us, as a participating state, the Oslo Agreement is in effect and is being applied," Baerbock responded when commenting on the U.S. plans to supply cluster munitions to Kyiv.
