City Budget Surplus Reaches 102.5% in June
As of June 29, 2023, the actual revenue from the city's own incomes in Yerevan amounted to 18 billion 457 million drams. This was announced by Arman Jhangiryan, the head of the Revenue Accounting and Collection Department of the Yerevan City Municipality, during a working meeting.
In June, the city budget was exceeded by 102.5%, or by 443.4 million drams. The total collected amount for the first six months surpassed the same indicator in 2022 by 2 billion 26 million drams.
It is noteworthy that the revenues projected for Yerevan's budget in 2023 are expected to reach 105 billion 103.3 million drams (6.8% higher than in 2022). The expenditures are forecasted at 105 billion 535.9 million drams, with a deficit of 432.6 million drams.
