Israel to Purchase Additional 25 F-35 Fighter Jets from the U.S.
Israel has decided to purchase an additional 25 F-35 fighter jets from the United States to form the third squadron of these aircraft, bringing the total number to 75. This was announced on Sunday by the press service of the country’s Ministry of Defense.
“The Israeli Ministry of Defense and the Israel Defense Forces will acquire the third squadron of F-35 aircraft. The ministry will purchase a total of 25 F-35 jets from the U.S. government, which are produced by Lockheed Martin,” the statement said.
