Today, a meeting was held with several officials from the Artsakh government to discuss the situation created by the complete blockade of Artsakh and our upcoming actions. This was stated by the Republic's State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan on his Facebook page.
“As a result of the discussion, the following decisions were made:
- During the upcoming week, points for the sale of sugar and oil will be established for families with children under 18 in Stepanakert and regional centers, and sales will be organized, which will be delivered to rural communities through local self-governing bodies.
- Starting next week, restrictions will be imposed on the operation of public food service establishments.
- Measures will be taken to alleviate public transport, allowing state system employees to work from home in a remote manner.
As a reminder, various types of food products have already been provided to certain social groups as assistance by the Ministry of Social Development and Migration of the Republic of Artsakh,” wrote the state minister.
