PHOTOS: Largest Ruby Weighing 55.22 Carats Sold at New York Auction
A ruby weighing 55.22 carats has been sold at a New York auction. Reports from Telegram channels indicate that the ruby was discovered in Mozambique in July 2022. Before processing, its weight was 101 carats. The stone ultimately sold for $35 million, becoming the "largest and most expensive" ruby in auction history.
