VIDEO: Tavush Governor on the Surrender of Several Villages to the Enemy
“Enclaves did not emerge after the revolution; they have always existed,” Tavush Governor Hayk Ghahramanyan told reporters at the National Assembly.
“Currently, there are no negotiations regarding the enclaves; when there are, the public will be informed. Just as we have areas under Azerbaijani control, we have the same situations in Tavush and in various parts of Armenia,” Ghahramanyan stated.
According to him, the issue of the enclaves will be resolved, noting that the Prime Minister has repeatedly emphasized and explained that the matter will be addressed during border demarcation and delimitation.
“Many areas of our land are under their control. Approximately 950 hectares from the Berkaber area are under Azerbaijani control. The problems we have are the same as those of the Azerbaijanis; we need to sit at the table and resolve the issues,” Ghahramanyan said.
