Petition to Remove Illegal Checkpoint in Berdzor Initiated by Tovmasyan

The Chairperson of the National Assembly’s Permanent Commission on Human Rights Protection and Public Affairs, Taguhi Tovmasyan, has announced:

“Today at 15:30, I invite our compatriots displaced from Artsakh to gather at the ‘Kinomoskva Square’ located at the intersection of Tumanyan and Abovyan Streets. My colleague from Artsakh, Oksana Balayan, and I are starting a petition demanding the removal of the illegal checkpoint established by Azerbaijan in Berdzor. The installation of this checkpoint is yet another gross violation of the fundamental rights of the Armenian population of Artsakh and the provisions of the 2020 trilateral statement.
