We Do Not Lose Hope That the CSTO May Take Certain Actions Regarding Armenia: Julhakyan
Discussions about Armenia withdrawing from the CSTO are completely unfounded, as the CSTO has yet to come to Armenia for us to understand the situation. This was stated by Civil Contract party MP Arusyak Julhakyan to reporters.
She noted that since May 2021, there have been three major incursions by Azerbaijan into the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, but the CSTO has not addressed this issue with Armenia.
At the same time, she emphasized that they still hold hopes regarding the organization. “When we say that the CSTO is leaving Armenia, we must note that the CSTO has not even reached Armenia; it is absent from the country. We do not lose hope that this security system may undertake certain actions related to Armenia, and further cooperation efforts are directed towards that,” said the MP from the Civil Contract party.
