Britain Will Provide More Military Equipment to Ukraine Than Promised

The United Kingdom will transfer twice as many Challenger 2 tanks of British manufacture to Ukraine than initially promised. Additionally, the number of AS-90 self-propelled howitzers to be provided to Kyiv will be increased. Furthermore, Britain will accept a larger number of Ukrainian servicemen for training at its firing ranges.

This was announced by Vadym Prystaiko, Ukraine's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the UK. According to him, the British made this decision following President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to London on February 8.

“Regarding the Challenger 2 tanks, we will receive double the amount instead of 14. Moreover, Britain will provide not 30, but 33 AS-90 type 155 mm self-propelled howitzers,” the ambassador stated.
