Bayramov on Armenia and Negotiations

We are ready for the prompt holding of the postponed tripartite meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia. This was stated by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

“In recent days, we have seen a manipulative political stance from Armenia. We call on them to avoid a wrong position,” said Bayramov.

The foreign minister of a country that regularly fires at Armenian positions, occupies parts of Armenia's sovereign territory, and has blocked the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia also insisted that the promotion of a peace agenda has always been Azerbaijan's initiative, and all their fundamental principles have been presented to Armenia.

It is worth noting that the day before, during the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that the tripartite meeting between Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan was canceled by the Armenians. Earlier, the possibility of a meeting of the leaders of Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan in Tbilisi was discussed after a quadrilateral meeting held in Prague.
