Law Enforcement to Enter the Civil Contract Party: Ministers and Deputies to be Questioned

The 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports that 'revolutionary youth rejecting electoral fraud have turned out to be actual election fraudsters, simply lacking the opportunity to carry out their activities.'

When Nikol Pashinyan and his team came to power, the true face of the actual fraudsters was revealed. As is known, serious falsifications occurred during the elections of the Civil Contract party’s board members held on October 29, where votes of certain members were found under others' names.

Now it turns out that those in power have come under the attention of national law enforcement agencies. According to credible information from the 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper, the law enforcement system of Armenia has begun to investigate all publications related to the violations recorded within the ruling party, and has decided to take action.

On Monday, one of the law enforcement agencies decided to clarify who, what, and how had distorted the election results for a desired outcome. This means that in the near future, the deputies who are board members of the Civil Contract party, ministers, and other officials, as well as candidates not elected to the board, will be called in by the security agencies to provide explanations.

Of course, it sounds nice that law enforcement will enter the Civil Contract party to restore justice, but it remains unclear under what rights and laws they will act.

'Zhoghovurd' could not yet clarify which law enforcement agency specifically decided to expose the internal affairs of the political power.

The main question at this stage is whether the ongoing investigation will reach its conclusion and if the guilty will be punished, or if it will merely be a formal process aiming at retribution.

'Zhoghovurd' will consistently follow the investigation regarding the violations permitted within the ruling party.
