How Many Russian Citizens Have Settled in Georgia After Mobilization?
The President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, has announced that more than 100,000 Russians have settled in their country following the announcement of partial mobilization in the Russian Federation.
She noted that since September 21, 2022, 700,000 citizens of the Russian Federation have crossed the Russian-Georgian border, of which 600,000 have subsequently traveled to European countries, Turkey, or Armenia.
According to Georgian non-governmental organization data, more than 45,000 Russians have opened bank accounts in Georgia.
