Ukraine Does Not Believe Russia's Statements
Mikhailo Podolyak, an advisor to the head of the Ukrainian President's Office, has stated that a significant grouping of Russian troops remains in Kherson. He emphasized that Ukraine sees no signs of Russia retreating without a fight, despite the Russian Ministry of Defense's statements. “Actions are more pronounced than words. Ukraine does not see signs that Russia is leaving Kherson without a fight. A significant part of the Russian group remains in the city, and additional reserves are being drawn into the region. Ukraine is liberating territories based on intelligence data, not staged television statements,” he said.
The Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Yaroslav Yanushevich, believes that despite the statements from Russian leadership, it is crucial to trust official sources. He also urged against disclosing information about the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and to maintain a regime of information silence.
Earlier, it was reported that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu ordered the troops to withdraw from Kherson.
