There is No Clear Political Approach to Leaving the CSTO: Khachatur Sukiasyan
There is no clear political approach indicating that Armenia should leave the CSTO. This was stated today by Khachatur Sukiasyan, a member of the National Assembly from the ruling Civil Contract party, in an interview with reporters ahead of the party's congress.
"None of the officials who have discussed this have said that we should leave the CSTO," he said.
When asked about the perspective that Armenia is changing its political vector, the ruling party member responded, "It is time for us to lead our actions based on Armenia's interests on the political platform, rather than on small, narrow, party interests. Those thoughts have no basis. This is being done to incite the Armenian authorities with this or that country. I ask you to respect the interests of Armenia and its citizens."
