Nvidia, the World's Largest Graphics Card Manufacturer, is Definitively Leaving Russia
Nvidia, the world's largest graphics card manufacturer, plans to close its office in Russia by the end of October, according to Forbes.
The decision to permanently leave the Russian Federation was made due to the "impossibility of ensuring effective work for employees." Since March 4, 2022, Nvidia has halted sales in the country. There are 240 employees left in the company.
They have been offered relocation opportunities to other countries, and even charter flights have been organized for this purpose. Those who do not wish to leave may resign with mutual consent. Nvidia has promised to pay severance to those employees who decide to stay.
