I Would Not Use Such Words: Macron on Biden's Statements
French President Emmanuel Macron, commenting on U.S. President Joe Biden's offensive remarks directed at Russian President Vladimir Putin, stated that he would not use such words.
This was reported by the "RIA Novosti" agency. Earlier, Biden had made several non-diplomatic comments about Putin. During a visit to a camp for Ukrainian refugees near the border with Poland and Ukraine, Biden called Putin a "dictator."
"I believe we must base our actions on facts and do everything to prevent the situation from spiraling out of control. I would not use such words, as I continue discussions with President Putin," Macron said.
