We demand that the elected mayor of Vardenis, Aharon Khachatryan, be returned to his office with his seal. This was stated by one of the protesters who blocked the Martuni-Vardenis road during a conversation with journalists.

“Why did we go to the election, let them appoint him, and he would come to work? I took my 80-year-old mother to the elections; for what? Today our elected mayor has passed, but they are not giving him the seal. They should have appointed him from above, and we would have been done with it. Are we living in a tyrannical country?” he added.
