NATO Leadership: Will Military Forces Be Deployed to Ukraine in Case of Russian Invasion?
NATO does not plan to deploy combat troops in Ukraine, which is not a member of the alliance, in the event of a Russian invasion. This declaration was made by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg during an appearance on the BBC on Sunday, as reported by Reuters.
“We do not have plans to deploy NATO combat troops to Ukraine. There is a difference between being a NATO member and being a strong and highly valued partner like Ukraine. There is no doubt about that,” he stated.
