“I can confidently say that the gas price will not increase for the underprivileged,” said Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan in a conversation with journalists. He noted that the gas price is formed by several components. “The price of gas at the border will not change for 2022, but we have a situation where there is a formula established by a contract signed in 2013, which dictates that the calculation of the border gas price is based on calorific value... The potential additional cost based on calorific value is not so large that it cannot be smoothed into the remaining pricing plan. As for business, let's wait and see what kind of pricing plan will emerge from the discussions of the Public Services Regulatory Commission.”
Mher Grigoryan also spoke about high-ranking officials contracting COVID-19.
