NATO Will Not Deploy Its Military Forces in Ukraine: Stoltenberg
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has stated that the Alliance will not deploy its military forces in Ukraine. He made this announcement during a conference, as reported by TASS.
At the same time, he emphasized that Russia would face "more NATO forces at its borders" if it uses force against Ukraine.
According to Stoltenberg, NATO is prepared to defend its territory and the sovereignty of its member states, although there are disagreements within the Alliance regarding the supply of weapons.
Earlier, Stoltenberg had noted during an online event that the Alliance does not know Russia's intentions concerning Ukraine and will make decisions based on the evolving situation.
He highlighted that the Alliance continuously assesses the situation and considers diplomacy to be the best solution.
