Nairi Sargsyan Issues Statement After Dismissal
Dear compatriots, it was a great honor for me to serve as the assistant to the leader of the revolution, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, after the revolution. I have worked with great love and dedication; it was a pleasure to help those who came to us with various issues.
During the last 3.5 years, I have spent little time with my family and friends, and now I will have the opportunity to fill that gap and relax a bit.
I thank Nikol Pashinyan for trusting me with this high position. Together we have gone through very difficult times—war, pandemic, two snap elections, and so on.
I will continue to remain loyal to our political team and will support as much as I can. I thank all my former and current colleagues who have worked with me, and I am grateful to all our compatriots who have supported and empowered me during this time.
Nairi Sargsyan
It is noteworthy that today Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a decision on January 26, stating: “In accordance with the 10th part of Article 9 of the Law on Public Service, Nairi Sargsyan is relieved of his position as assistant to the Prime Minister.” Sargsyan was appointed to this position by the Prime Minister’s decision on June 1, 2018.
