VIDEO: How Azerbaijanis Are Traveling to Occupied Armenian Shushi
Starting Monday, regular bus routes have begun operating from the capital of Azerbaijan to Shushi and Aghdam, cities that fell under Baku's control as a result of the 44-day war. Currently, individuals over the age of 18 can visit the territories of Artsakh occupied by Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani citizens are allowed to visit each of the regions once a year. As reported by TASS, the first regular buses on the Baku-Shushi-Baku and Baku-Aghdam-Baku routes departed early this morning. According to the State Automobile Transport Service, trips will be made twice a week on these routes.
