Russian Defense Ministry Delegation Heads to Geneva for Russia-U.S.-NATO Talks
A delegation from the Russian Defense Ministry has departed for Geneva to participate in security talks with the U.S. and NATO.
The U.S. emissaries will solely discuss bilateral security issues with the Russian delegation during a meeting scheduled for January 10 in Geneva. This was announced by a State Department representative during a news briefing on Friday, which was held as part of Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman's upcoming trip to Switzerland and Belgium. She will take part in discussions concerning strategic stability with Russia in Geneva and a Russia-NATO Council meeting in Brussels.
