Georgia Will Not Participate in the Second Meeting of the '3+3' Format
The Ambassador of Georgia to Turkey, Giorgi Janjgava, has announced that Georgia will not participate in the second meeting of the '3+3' format, scheduled to take place in Turkey. According to Armenpress, the diplomat made this statement in an interview with the Turkish Daily Sabah newspaper.
Last week, Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu expressed hope that Georgia would attend the second session of the platform, which is set to be held in Turkey. The first meeting in the '3+3' format took place on December 10 in Moscow.
The delegations from Turkey, Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Armenia attended the meeting, led by their deputy foreign ministers. A day before the meeting, the Georgian Foreign Ministry issued a statement announcing that Georgia would not be represented at the so-called '3+3' format meeting.
