Crimean Delegation Arrives in Turkey to Discuss the Lives of Tatars
The Crimean delegation has arrived in Ankara to present the situation of the Crimean Tatars to the Turkish public, following Crimea's reunification with the Russian Federation, stated the delegation's representative, Mikhail Solomoncev, deputy permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea under the President of Russia.
The 40-member delegation includes representatives from public and cultural organizations, as well as the academic sector and journalists. In Ankara, a forum on the cultural and humanitarian connections of Crimean Tatar organizations was held.
“The days of Crimean Tatar culture in Turkey are exclusively humanitarian in nature; we are not engaged in politics, but rather trying to convey what is currently happening in Crimea concerning the Crimean Tatars. The development is evident in all areas—art, culture, science, and more,” the representative of the delegation told Russian journalists.
